19 Feb - 20 March
Pisces is the twelfth sign of the Zodiac and is symbolised (unsurprisingly) by the fish. It is the sign of rebirth and regeneration and as a result, Pisceans are believed to be more in touch with the spiritual world than any other sign. It is therefore appropriate that they spend much time on their own spiritual journeys following their beliefs.
The pisces horoscope shows them to be intuitive, sensitive and willing to believe in the unnatural (they are great with 'hunches' and 'gut feelings' about people and events), although they can be heavily influenced by their surroundings. Empathy for others and their easy gong nature makes them very likeable people.
As a lover of dreaming, the Pisces horoscope is unsurprisingly dominated a bit by creativeness, imagination and fantasy. If let loose - their imaginations can run wild and as Pisceans tend to lead from their emotions. all rationale can disappear out the window.
Their dreamy exterior and creativeness also flows through to their friendships and compassion to others. Using their intuitive trait, they often know how to deal with others and this creates unique bonds. However, this can sometimes be abused by some and whilst they think they are building trust, their caring nature is being taken advantage of.
This naive streak opens Pisceans to depression and disillusionment with others and Pisceans then start questioning their own nature and being. This leads to confusion and anger and mistrust of all - sometimes unfairly so.
Your key traits
|The good traits
||The not so good traits|
Personal relationships :
Their sensitive side and they compassion makes them a prime catch. Not being a taker, they always give more to their partners than they ever receive. Most Pisceans would ideally like to have a relationship and a partner in tune with their desires and creative flair. The one worrying area for pisceans is their trusting others who will abuse that trust and take take take in a relationship.
In marriage Pisceans, provided they find like-minded people rather than takers, show loyalty, respect and faithfullness. They are great fun, easy to be woth and are always (well nearly) cup half full people.
Pisces Health :
Pisces is associated with the lymphatic system and therefore needs to take extra special care of their glands. The sign of Pisces is also associated with the feet. The emotional nature of Pisces can leave them open to imagine that they have ailments that do not in fact exist and they are advised to have any worries where health is concerned looked into by a professional medical advisor to ensure that the illness really does exist before resorting to treatment.
The Pisces character is also susceptible to becoming addicted to drugs or alcohol so care should be taken with these substances especially in times of depression and melancholy. Good exercise is a much better way of coping with these pressures and those of the sign of Pisces would do well to get into a daily workout regime if they can.
Allergic reaction is also a health feature of those born under the zodiac sign of Pisces and in this way should be careful in attempting to shield themselves from those things that disagree with them in this manner.
In particular, however, those of the sign of Pisces need to ensure that they remember to take care of their feet. The feet are often forgotten or their health neglected due to their peripheral situation in the body but for a Pisces this is a big mistake. Pisces should take care to keep their feet protected from outside injury and to try to ensure that their footwear is both comfortable and properly fitting.
Pisces Money/Career :
Those of the sign of Pisces are not really taken by the ideas of wealth and are rarely desperate enough to become rich to devote their lives to this kind of pursuit. A Pisces will be careful with money though they are clearly not ruled by it. Even when a Pisces has little money they are generous with it to a fault.
Where jobs are concerned we find that Pisces is most happy when involved in work that involves an artistic element. If they cannot find employment of that sort you can usually find them working in the caring professions due to Pisces deep feelings for all of humanity.
They do not respond well to rigid discipline in the work place and can rebel if this is forced upon them in an unreasonable manner. They will tend to stick up for their work colleagues if they feel they are being given a raw deal. A Pisces makes a wonderful employee as long as they are treated with respect.
Due to the powers of their imagination a Pisces can often come up with novel ways of going about a task. Dull and boring routine is therefore not suited to a job done by a Pisces but employment that allows for inspiration and flexibility in procedure is ideal for this sign. Pisces will happily rise to the challenge and find the best way forward.
Pisces in Astrology :
Pisces is the twelfth sign of the zodiac and is symbolised by the Fishes (two of them). They are one of the three Water signs, the others being Cancer and Scorpio. The two fishes in the sign of Pisces swim (or point) in two different directions which symbolises the struggle going on within the heart and soul of Pisces. Others say that the fishes of Pisces are swimming in a circle bringing about the idea of a cycle of rebirth or renewed growth. The sign of Pisces is also associated with ideas of eternity and the never ending nature of the universe. Just like Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio and Capricorn, we find that Pisces is negative in polarity meaning that they prefer to be self-reliant rather than look outside for help and co-operation.
Neptune, the ruling planet of Pisces, is defined as being mysterious, dreamlike, spiritual and otherworldly. This is reflected in the Pisces character.
Ruling planet: Neptune/Jupiter
Polar or opposite zodiac sign: Virgo
